Annual Sleep Apnea Summit

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the First Annual International Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Summit that took place in Scottsdale, Arizona. There were multiple speakers of different medical specialties discussing the latest research on the impact of sleep disorders, more specifically sleep apnea, in the general population. A lot of great information on how dentists are in a privileged position to detect and manage this complex problem that affects so many Americans.

I look forward to continue pursuing advanced continuing education on this fascinating field and to be able to educate the community on how to prevent and treat this and other conditions that affect the jaws and the airway.
